Capacci Foraggi

History

Our history is not ancient, but it is still full of passion, passion given by a desired project, believed in to the end and by the love for one’s work.

Inspired by his father, a livestock dealer in local markets, when business was still done with a handshake and a piece of chalk kept in the waistcoat, my father Capacci Gualtiero, in the early ’60s, with a pioneering spirit had the intuition to dedicate himself to the marketing of fodder and set out to discover a world still little known to him.

He sold his car to buy his first truck and, with his traveling companion, he set off from Arezzo towards the markets of the North, reaching the borders of Northern Italy, where this product was consumed by small dairy farms.

With the same spirit, in the early ’90s, attention shifted to the feed industry and, following my diploma as an agricultural expert, we built the first plant and started the fodder processing business.

Today the company has grown, both in size and in variety of production.

The family has directly managed the business for 2 generations, and one of the goals for the future, always working with commitment and with a lot of passion, despite everything, is to pass the baton to the 3rd generation, my children, to work alongside them and become an even stronger reality.
